All change this Full Moon
Whoa! I have taken the time to sit still and reflect and look back over the journey of Holly’s Harmony Yoga and how much it has grown since June 2020. With all of the mercury and Venus retrograde energy recently as well as going through eclipse season I have had a real deep dive, working out how to realign myself on my souls true path. It hasn’t been smooth sailing! My life is about to change massively with a big family shift, the biggest since 2016 and it is scary. I have been grasping and trying to grip onto any control I have but it is no use. The universe keeps telling me I need to let go of control and surrender to the flow…. A real lesson the universe is trying to get me to learn. So what has been happening here? Well I have had to let go of my Saturday morning classes which has been really hard. My children no longer have swimming lessons on a Saturday morning so the time has come for me to enjoy that time with them as I am constantly reminded that this time when they are young is so precious. My oldest son has his own life now, not really needing me and my eldest daughter is heading that way too, so I am really wanting to treasure these moments with my youngest two. You never know, when they need me less as they grow up Saturdays will have the chance to return! I love Ayurveda, this ancient wisdom of how to live healthily. Where your body is in a place of ease rather than dis-ease. I feel this wisdom is wanting to be shared in class and through my own way of living rather than through consultations. So I am not going to focus my attentions there, instead helping and supporting everyone through my other work. To supplement the support and aftercare advice I give at my other holistic therapies. At the moment I have so many exciting opportunities bubbling away in the background to offer a well rounded holistic offering to those around me. I really struggle with endings and tying up the last little bits, so I am really focusing my energies in on completing my case studies so I can fully launch these offerings. I am completing my Reflexology level 3 diploma with Jeannie at Sole Care. This concludes in July. At the moment I have 70 case studies to complete between now and then. So I really need to focus my attention in. Please do let me know if you want to help with this by offering your feet for a case study. I am also tying up the loose ends for my Tuning fork sound healing with Debbi at Suara Sounds. I love connecting with people both in person and at a distance with this healing modality. With a scientific and modern western brain I went into this thinking how can this work. Now I am practicing it and I am seeing and feeling for myself the pure benefits of sound work to bring the body back into alignment with these vibrational frequencies. This is why I am also working my way through a Celtic tree journey with Ros Simons. Connecting my work with the moon, sound healing and the trees with the Celtic wheel of the year. It is fascinating. There is just so much going on it will have to be continued….

Navigating the world of Ayurveda can feel overwhelming, especially with the myriad routines and lifestyle changes. Let’s hold ourselves accountable for positive transformation together.
Do We Live to Work, or Work to Live?

Embarking on a journey back to Ayurvedic living, I reflect on a recent cycle of unwellness that prompted a pause and reevaluation.
What has been going on???

Amidst the serene setting of Holly’s Harmony Yoga, a dynamic transformation unfolds as I near the completion of my Ayurvedic Diploma and dive into the depths of yoga philosophy.
The New Moon

As the sun’s light hides behind the moon, it’s a moment for intention setting, a time to ponder and plan your aspirations for the upcoming moon cycle, embracing the urge to retreat inward, slow down, and engage in reflective practices like restorative or yin yoga.
AYURVEDA’S POPULARITY
AYURVEDA’S POPULARITY I have always fed my dogs well and treated them with herbal remedies. I read Janey Lee Graces books on how to bring my children up naturally. Looking at alternative medicines and beauty treatments. Now my life has led me here and I feel I have found what I have been searching for, the thing which resonates with me. Ayurveda. But…. It doesn’t seem to fit into today’s society. But that is all changing. Today people are turning to Acupuncture, Yoga, Ayurveda and Massage where usually they would go to the doctors for a tablet to mask the symptoms rather than treating the root of the problem. I know it, I have been there! But I have been turning to these alternative methods and found they have worked more long term. After my motorbike accident in 2005 I was offered Acupuncture on the NHS and it really helped me. This is something that would never have been heard of just 10 years earlier. My wonderful girl Chloe, who I lost in the summer, was being treated with Mistletoe extract for her cancer and it shrunk her tumour massively and gave her a longer life. A treatment they use in over 50% of human cancer patients in Germany, but we dismiss here. Germany relies on complimentary medicine, and I hope that there will be a big shift here too. In the past 3 years there has been a big increase in the usage of Ayurveda in the West with positive response, and long may it continue. Previous PostNext Post
