Pranayama is breathwork, which we practice each yoga session. The bee breath is perfect for reducing stress, clearing the mind ready for meditation as well as being great if you have a headache or migraine.
Place your thumbs on your tragus, the little bit of cartilage in the middle of the ear and press them in. Place the rest of your hands across the top of the head or over your eyes. Inhale through the nose and exhale with the mouth closed, creating a hum like a bee in the mouth.
You will feel the soothing vibrations fill your head and relax the body. Repeat 3 or 4 times. Longer if you wish.
